My key areas of research are plant breeding (with interest in mutation breeding) and biotechnology. Current research work is in breeding for new improved varieties for cowpea and Bambara groundnut and yet to begin work on breeding for improved varieties of Kersting’s groundnut. The collaborating institutions are BNARI and WAAPP
